I have an Oben CTM-2500 and it is a great monopod. It is well built. The one I have looks like the carbon fiber version of the one you are looking at. I think you would be happy with ACM-2400. The reviews on B & H are pretty much all good.

I have the Oben VH-R2 tilt head, but I really need one with a larger load capacity. I have only used it for shooting football games.
What kind of rig are you supporting. I'm talking about using a D610 & a Sigma 150-600Sport. 6.3 lb. lens. Will this rig do it or should I look elsewhere?
I have a Canon 6D and the Sigma 50-500mm. The head doesn't hold the weight as well as I would like. While shooting I do not have a problem, but when I carry it with camera and lens attached it doesn't seem to hold or I am not able to tighten it down enough to hold without movement. Does that make sense?
Hi Don, as you may know, I am partial to the Manfro 685b - especially for speed/ergonomics. And I do like the 3063 fluid head - especially for following action + at a reasonable cost ( can only be purchased used now for about $70). Use a macro slider plate for balancing with the manfro QR plates and as a handle for carrying.
I didn't see the load capacity listed, do you happen to know what it is?
No, I also looked for it and could not find it, one of the people that posted a "customer review" {on that link} stated he uses a combination of 12 pounds, I will tell you that this product is very well built! I was actually very surprised when I received it!!! I'm usually the one that ends up buying something and having to send it back and keep buying "UP" until I get a good product!! not this time, money well spent the first time, {and "no" I do not own stock!!}
