crystals do produce harmonic musical vibrations get the right ones together and you get a rock concert.   sorry i tried to resist but couldn't help my self. Hello i'm ken and im a comedyaholic.
The colors are amazing, and I'm still trying to figure out what nature is trying to do here, and I'm surounded with thousands of these little stones and they don't sing , they just set around looking pretty, and I love comedy anytime....
Did you do these shots? Really awesome!
More Rocks! Please!

OH YEA! did I find a rockhound here? And yes I take these photos mainly to keep track of my inventory and keep record, glad you like them, I do have more posted I'm not sure how you can retrieve them
What fabulous photographs. I too love crystals and have been very fortunate in being in several mines. Im England we have a mine called The Blue John Cavern which produced crystals, Princess Di's favorite ring was from the Blue John Caves.
Altough I live in hot steemy Florida, I have a place 10 miles North of Hot Springs, Arkansas and the area is famous for its crystal mines. You can pay a small amount $20 or so and go chip all the crystals to your hearts content. Amother local attraction is "The Crater of Diamonds" a 5 acre or so field that they plough over each day and you can go pick though the dirt and every day someone finds diamonds. All you find you keep!
Great photographs since the clear crystal is not easy to light and photograph.

These are GORGEOUS!
A fond memory is of actually finding a "Jersey Diamond".. or ten... on the beach! lol
A FAR cry from these, naturally.
I'd love to pay $20 for a bag and go diggin'
And I'd LOVE to come up with something a fraction of the size these look like, too!
Great shots trouble is around here in WV that is our rocks are alot less fancy. Like coal and Sandstone or limestone. But I like it when they are in layers. See this cut for a road way.
lotsa a layers here ( notice the coal seams)
