Did you put your camera on the ground? No way you should be behind that camera on #4. Just a thought.

Ok woodsliv, fess up ... that's your "de-fanged" pet now, isn't it? :lol: This sounded like an invitation to share some "creepy crawlies", so here's a few;

Nice fangs!

No that wasn't a pet. He was just crossing the road. We have lots of them out here. They really are cool spiders. during Oct/Nov they migrate around the desert. You can find thousands of them crossing the roads some times. They are usually dosel, only bite if you squeeze them.
Yours are cool, but I wouldn't touch either of them. We have hundreds of black widows here. They are everywhere.

Woodsliv, I really like your little friend. Great shots. I think I saw one walking down a country road outside of San Antonio, TX a few months back. I have held one (named Rosey) before. I get all creeped out over the other spiders.

the one with the hour glass on her belly is a black widow and not a lady, she will bite and make you very sick.

Gutsy move on your part. Hard to focus with a subject that just wants to walk up your arm.

Our Granddaughter is in The Creepers & Crawlers at school, and they had a show last week. This is just a shot of some of the kids holding a snake (our Granddaughter is not in the picture)
