I really like the effect rain has on light at night. I made a stop in downtown Dallas on my way home to photograph this fountain. (some of you may have seen a previous shot of this) I was approached by 'Antone' from St. Mary's Parish in Louisiana. I needed someone to hold my umbrella & he was looking for spare change. So Antone became my assistant for that particular shoot. This was the best shot I could get of him. He had a real 'hunted rabbit' thing going on. Later I went over to shoot 'Large Marge' (the Margret Hunt Hill Bridge) from the new scenic overlook they just completed. No help with the umbrella - I gotta get some rain gear for my stuff!

And bowl covers! They look like shower caps, are in the baggie section of grocery. I keep both of those things and a rain poncho in my camera pack. Love the photos, great shots!!
I especially like the first two of these. Good job! I keep a gallon zip lock bag in my camera bag for covering my camera in case of an unexpected rain. Of course, it doesnt cover the photographer.
