I just love playing with new toys, as in new photography equipment. This time it was with my new Nikon D810. I finally decided to go to a FX body and so far the D810 has been wonderful. This Black-crowned Night Heron was taken from a pontoon boat along the Silver River near Ocala, Florida. The settings were iso 1250, f/6.3, 1/320, handheld with the Nikon 300 f/4 lens and the Nikon 1.4TC.
