A simple portrait for a simple man. Jim came into the studio yesterday to have me photograph 3 bronze sculptures he has done and is sending into a jury for show entry. At the end of the session he thought perhaps he needed a new head shot as well so we created this shot for him to use on his site and catalog. I asked him if he wanted to change into a dress shirt and this gentle and humble man simply stated "this is who I am, no need to be something I am not" I had to agree with him 100%

I believe you have captured the essence of the man and his work.
Thank you Tainkc, A10 and Pam. I really had a great time working with this talented artist
How lucky you are to be able to create such wonderful and beautiful pictures and work with such talented people. I wish my work could come close to yours.
Thank you Wurtz, it is a pleasure getting to work with such a diverse client base as I have.

Actually no, this shot was created with the lighting that was being used for the art work alone I simply inserted the artist in front of it.
