Don't really know what is going on here but you are going to struggle to get a car in!

Hummm. Lack of planning? Something else was built afterwards? Interesting.

The house on the right has been there for a long time. I keep driving past and wondering why they didn't just put a normal door on it or build it with the garage door facing frontways? The gap is only wide enough to fit a mini.

Well, it looks like it is definitely in the UK. so I can only assume it's for a Copper or Morgan. Unless there a green family and use the old peddle power. I know it will keep any car from being stolen. If they built the garage over the car. LOL

I don't think the Cooper or Morgan has wheels or tires large enough to get up and over the slab floor at the entry way either. Just my observation.

Maybe not intended for a car at all. Storage? Already had this garage door?

There just waiting for the turn table to be installed, it will bring that tolerance to a manageable number. LOL

I actually think it was a set back requirement, most likely by the town. It looks like there parking cars front in to it. So as mentioned, it's most like a storage unit for the something.

Well, I have my garage at the end of the driveway which you can fit three cars on. Unless it's a Morris Minor or a Smart Car, you can never get a car in it. Too narrow. I think mine was built just for storage.

My guess is that it's someone's way of getting around planning restrictions.
