I saw a piece on the news yesterday which was intrigueing.
It showed a man who is using not a 35mm camera but a 30foot camera. The whole unit is mounted on a trailer. The camera has a huge back and then a very large bellows assembly and then the lens unit on the front. He uses film rather than digital and his shutter is taking the lens cap (approx 5 inch diameter) off and stobes fire. He then puts the lens cap back on. The photos he takes are the size of a wall but quite astounding clarity.
A photo taken by him cost $50,000. Whew!

Do Clydesdale horses pull that trailer? Sounds like an anachronism.

AH, ye olde type view Kamera when there were no enlargers or photo editors. For a way big image ye needs a way big piece o' film.
Do they have any images of the tripod??
New is old. I saw one in the Time/Life book "The Camera" that was used to take a pcture of a train in the 1900's that was just like this one. - Dave
I think that he uses photo sensitive paper. No one makes film that big. ( You should see the size of the trays )

When the flash goes off, you get third degree burns, so try and get you picture taken in day light, less painful.
