Our high school kids put on a fall musical every year. They work for months at it, and they are very professional. This is my first attempt at taking photographs in this sort of venue. It was very low light, no flash allowed, I had to stay in my seat and keep down so I wouldn't bother anyone behind me. I used my 100mm. I thought about my 150-500, but it only stops down to F5.0 and it may have been too long anyway. I was also worried it would be a bother to other people around me because of it's size.
ISO 1600
F/2.8
1/250 second exposure
I think this one is better in regards to the white balance but still a little on the yellow side. I love how you captured the expressions.
Echoing all my comments on the last image but this one even moreso.
An interesting moment grabbed from the evening, great light and colour.
To think that this is indoors with available light is amazing.
I like the way that they stand out from the darker background without the light having a "border".
Thank you, Judy. They did have a lot of wacky lighting flashing around .. green, yellow ... it was crazy. Lighthouse ... that's my post processing ... thank you!! Yay!!! I did some "dodging" and "burning" like Graham does! LOL I must have gotten it right. Yay!! :-)

You done good, so good that I can't see where you done it :-)
I love the way you captured their expressions and the lighting you managed to get on their skin produced very nice skin tones. Well done.
With the light you had available I think this is quite amazing with some pretty slick PP work as well
Thank you, Billy. Especially for the pp comment. I am horrible at pp and I need all the encouragement I can get. LOL
Plagiarism? Ah to hell with it.... You done good, so good that I can't see where you done it.
The general standard round here has become awe-inspiring. I nearly said 'intimidating!'
Mike.
Oh. Sorry. I like the fact that a different crop was not chosen. To me that shows a distinct ability to decide what will produce just the right shape to show the photo off to perfection, thus inducing the viewer's complete satisfaction. Very well done!

I know we're not supposed to comment on other critiques, much less critics, but Damn, Graham, you're a HOOT!
