Late Bloomer

Took this photo October 29 . Never seen a Iris bloom this late in the year. Also had 5 blooms on one stem.

Thanks for looking. I had to cut it Friday because the temperature went to 31 and snowed. The two buds on the bottom of the stem came out this morning. I will be able to enjoy them a little longer.

Thanks for looking and the comment. I had been watching the stem grow and thought I had forgot to trim after blooming . I thought the the flower buds were seed pods and to my surprise they bloomed. Had to cut it Friday because it went to 31 that night and am still enjoying on them on my kitchen counter.
