Choosing and Using tripods

If you're in the market for a tripod you may find my new e-book, Choosing and Using Tripods , of interest. There are 25,000 words and over 100 pictures, and it might well save you a good deal more than the $2.99 it costs you. If you go to http://www.rogerandfrances.com/e-books.html -- the bottom of the page, because the titles are in alphabetical order -- you can see what it's about and click on a free 'taster' with a summary and abridged content.

For comparison, it's about ten to fifteen times the length of a typical magazine article, or between one-third and one-half the length of a 160 page printed book.

I have checked with Admin and as far as I understand it, I am not breaking UHH rules by posting this. If I am mistaken, I apologize, and no doubt Admin will remove the thread.

Cheers,

R.

thank you Roger for posting and checking with admin prior to doing so.
If I needed info on a tripod your E-book would be top of my list. From reading your posts here - you are consistently a gentleman and a camera nut.

I appreciate that - most especially the latter.

I have been looking at tripods, monopods and heads for a couple of weeks... I bought your ebook earlier today and have read about a third of it... I have learned more in the last couple of hours than I have in the last couple of weeks... If anyone is wondering I can tell you it is worth more than the $2.99 price. THANK YOU VERY MUCH...

I bought a manfretto 055proB and 808 head as a package and could not be happies. It's strong much studies than the manfretto 90 proB for $100 less. I paid $350 . Go to a shop and take a look and play with a couple.
Good luck
