SX50.

This is Larry, my pet dragon. He normally eats from my hand & will pose for me, but he wouldn't cooperate yesterday. He wouldn't stay completely in the sun (or in the shade), & the patchy lighting is terrible. He is about 2 feet long. He won't mind if you download him.

Fantastic shots of Larry, Earl!!! His personality (or lizardality lol) is apparent in each one and especially the last, my favorite. What a super shot of this fella!!! :-)

I cut any type of meat (raw or cooked) into little pieces about the size of a little finger nail. He really loves chopped up Salami. He loves large insects, but he can go find his own grasshoppers, lol.

Interesting. I had a large pet iguana that looks similar, but mainly ate fruit and veggies, supplemented with a few crickets or mealworms. He was great with me but not trustworthy with other people and could give a nasty bite. Just like people, the females aren't as macho and physically aggressive. Is your dragon gentle and tame?

I agree with Dixiegirl. He has beautiful, expressive eyes, well captured in the last photo.

Our grandson has a bearded dragon who likes to sit on everyone's shoulders while they do homework. Not my idea of an ideal pet, but then I'm a cat person. ;-) Nice shots Earl and evenic.
