Hi... Very weird situation going on, and wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same. Or, can explain this phenomenon! Over the past few days there were posts in the "Photo Gallery" Section. I primarily view through Internet Explorer, but when I want to post I have to log in using Google Chrome. Both times I wanted to post for NYC pics, and when I went "over" to google chrome, the NYC postings aren't there! I go back to Explorer, there they are, Chrome, gone! Very weird. Anyway, I love photographing "life" in NYC... my daughter is 3rd yr. student at NYU and she is always finding new neighborhoods for us to wander.

Any browser should have a section where it states ' Refresh the browser on each visit to a site ' Internet Explorer does and you can set it to refresh on each visit. Otherwise, unless you physically hit the refresh button The 3/4 circle with the point at the top pointing right, the site shows only what was there previously. Sort of like a memory to speed up viewing.

Thanks, Fireman. I have so much fun when I'm there just walking and looking for opportunities/images to capture with my camera. I'm spending a couple days this weekend in Philadelphia with the same goal in mind!
Cheers!

Those are very interesting shots...I really like street photography and you did a good job here...you captured the flavor of the moments well.

PS: I think that your post processing is spot on as well.

Larry
quote=Kathi quote=fireman1088 Nice pics. I was t... (show quote)

Hi Larry,
What an interesting article! As in the video, and Kai's choice, I use my Nikon D700. And, while one of favorite lenses is the 70-200mm f/2.8, I recognize it as a bit intrusive, and obvious, when it comes to steathily stalking the streets! I use my 28-75mm f/2.8 and find it to be a magical tool to capture my intent.
His Do's and Don'ts are spot on! Thanks for your comments.

Thanks, rpavich. I'm a real novice when it comes to post-processing, but found the app "Snapseed" for my iPad and I really love it! Just enough to clean up and add interesting interpretations. "TouchRetouch" is pretty cool, too.

Thanks, vinniepics! I'm currently running a photography club/class for middle school students and one of my over-riding lessons each week is "Look up! Learn to see your surroundings from a different perspective!"

Thanks, Dom. There are some images/views that just beg for the B&W!

And, some that demand its colors!
