Here I am. I started with a ME-Super during the Viet Nam era, still have, and occassionally still use. I have more gear than I have sense and I will gurantee you one thing...Having good gear does not make you a good photographer. I am one of those that just happens upon a good photo about every 6 or 7 months but I like to try. I consider myself a lowly amateur

I shoot Pentax for medium format film, but not in digital. When a 645D body come up for sale for $3000 I will have one though!

YEE-HAW...
I had a K1000, ME-SUPER, P&S (forgot), and now a K10D, also carry a NIKON P60 in my pocket daily, cause it uses AA.
Thanks for the replies, I almost thought I was the Lone Ranger.

I have both the K5 & the K7! the only problem it seems with pentax is finding the bigger telephoto lens. Sigma does make a 500, F4.5 but that is the biggest quality lens you will find to fit Pentax cameras.

I love my K1000. can't bring my self to get rid of it , even though i haven't used it in a few years . Did my Brothers wedding , and my shots were better than the guy they paid lol He had to be having a bad day . But that was in 2000. Still , i might have to burn a roll this weekend .

Arizona. K1000, K-x, mostly older glass. Also shoot Canon, but when I need to travel lighter, the K-x usually finds it way into the bag.

I have a K200 my wife bought for me I use for wildlife photography with the DA 60 to 250 lens which is less lens than I need but still a quality lens.
I just have to be sneaky in getting closer shots. I would have purchased the Sigma 50 to 500 lens if I have learned of that one sooner.
