Well I am glad I didn't insult anyone. That is not my intent.

Why do people take something to simple and do their best to change the facts and refuse to discuss the PROOF.

God makes 9,864 promises in the bible. Pick one. Claim it - demand it and watch how it always comes true just as God Promises.

We have a God who delights to make & keep His Promises.

I think that is just so kewl! Talk about proof... Well t hat is just amazing that He works on such a personal level with ALL his "children".

If He didn't exist then it would be 100% impossible for any of His Promises to ever come true!

First of all, if you mention God, you are immediately dismissed as a "Bible Thumper", "believer in invisible faeries", "bigoted h**er", and the list goes on.
These same people on the other hand constantly berate Christians and anyone else who does not agree with them as "intolerant" although their tolerance of our belief is somewhat thin.

Well that just goes to show you how inadequate their parents were in teaching anything meaningful and positive.

I live in the upper regions of the Arctic in Alaska @ the Top of the World.

I've posted an impressive 11 page photo essay of life out on the ocean ice.

Imagine 50 below zero - you are miles away from land out in the middle of a huge frozen ocean ice pack of salt water ice.

QUESTION: ? How do you obtain delicious fresh drinking water from saltwater ice ??? @ sub zero temps?? Only an eskimo knows how to do that.

20 miles from land - surrounded on all sides by saltwater ice.. How do you get the salt out of the ICE??

Well I personally would get a bus ticket and get the hell out of a place where you had to live on salt pop-cycles. Yes indeed, I think I would be heading to Florida with the other non frozen people.

I was sent to this village 38 years ago for just 3 weeks to wire two buildings as construction camps. I fell in love with the people, the land, the culture and there is only one way to put it.. The Arctic is Paradise!

I am 600 miles from the nearest "city".

My back yard is larger than all of New England with less than 10,000 people in an area that huge!

Probably the best known writter is Shakespear. Probably the best selling book is the Bible. Shakespear has 4 vowels and 6 consonants. If you go to Psalm 46, the 46th word from the bigining is shake, and the 46th word from the end is spear. Coincidences like this can be found anywhere you look for them. As for probability regarding something that has already happend: The chances of any 6 given numbers coming up in the British lottery, are about 14 million to 1. There are 2 draws every week, giving a total of 102 per year. So the chances of any series of numbers being drawn in one year is 1,428 million to 1. Yet every year a series of numbers is drawn. So it's pointless to try to give any relevance to a coincidence after the event.

I don't think I am superior. I know for a fact I am inferior... all I had to do to convince me of that was to read the bible. A simple story on how degenerate mankind is.

I don't agree with your first presumption. But I do agree with your second statement and the division part is right on perfect. The book of proverbs says.. A righteous man will FAIL seven times. So you did get that part right.

Maybe, just maybe I might find someone to hold an intelligengent discussion in here. But with the lack of talent I have witnessed so far it is highly doubtful.

I thought you post was interesting, and rather refreshing. You will find however that on this site we have a cadre of superior liberals who will attack anyone who dares to post anything Christian, at the drop of a hat.
It puzzles me as to why they are so rabid and h**eful regarding something they profess to have no belief in.

Totally agree! This post was incredibly interesting. I remember some of the first teachings in church regarding this subject. It was confusing but very intriguing!

Numerology is any belief in divine, mystical or other special relationship between a number and some coinciding events. It has many systems and traditions and beliefs. Numerology and numerological divination by systems such as isopsephy were popular among early mathematicians, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudomathematics or p***********e by modern scientists.

epic fail - numerology is not gematria !!

The person who discovered all of the instances of sevens in Genesis 1:1 was...

A loud mouth atheist!! In fact this agnostic was very verbal in defence of his beliefs. So much so that when He converted to Christianity in 1903. It was FRONT PAGE NEWS in a major N.Y. newspaper.

Imagine that; All this atheist had to do was read one sentence and he noticed something very unusual. so unusual that he knew - No man could ever construct such in intricate mathematical design. That person's name was Dr. Ivan Panin. He spent the next 50 years documenting all of the seven's throughout the entire bible. He hand wrote over 45,000 pages!!
