What a difference a day makes.. From 70's to 32 degrees. Well it brought the girls out with their kids. Even mom showed up after my not seeing her for 3 days.

I believe it, you must have gotten the stuff that we were supposed to get. We must be way west of Marilyn, no snow here yet but the chill is definitely in the air. My wife tells me that the wood stove has been fired up so it is coming.

I can see the Sangre' de Cristo moutain and Pike's Peak from the yard but so far the only snow here has landed on the "Fourteeners".
Something tells me that this is going to be an ugly winter. Aside from the weather, I have degenerative arthritis in both knees and my wife has rheumatoid arthritis in both hands. Talk about a pair to draw to. So you can imagine how unenthused I am about the real cold although I'm pretty certain that it the reason God allowed us to discover alcohol. 90 proof peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate works wonders on the snowy blues.
