Yes many of you have done this in photo courses and I have learned through you how interesting it can be.
You make an imaginary circle of three feet in diameter and from Inside this circle you photograph what you see. Now this, for me anyway, gave me insight on finding subjects which ordinarily I'd not even notice ....
Your circles could be anywhere, your cellar or a Walmart parking lot, it is your choice
Here's my first post. Hope you like.
A caught leaf I noticed this morning. Cartooned it just a bit.

Thanks for hosting RR. I should learn a lot from this challenge.

This is going to be a fun challenge. Thanks Roadrunner.
Yesterday I was raking leaves and found a lot of things within my 3 foot circle.
A big pile of golden leaves
Close up of leaf rake
I look down and I can see the shadow of the tree
I look up and I can see the almost bare tree
One of the many golden leaves on the grass
My multi tasking Lawn mover and trailer.

Nice one, Mom. Like the cartoon
Diameters, seems sort of like what I've been doing for quite awhile with some places.
i.e. the halloween decked lawn. I shot a broad shot, then started zooming on specific types of decorations.
or the duck pond I love so much you all may be getting bored with it. Actually, on Saturday, it was loaded with ducks and I shot more than 30 shots - a good 10 of which were zoom in close ups. Showing them all would mean a lot of resizing.
Here's #1, then the shots, I elected to edit, name and save
8-)
First crow I've seen at the pond
