Another on from the Big Swell series, looking West from Birling Gap along the Seven Sisters,--I like picture one as I feel the house adds a bit of perspective to the scene.

Gorgeous shot, Geoff!!! Great detail and light.

I'm figuring at the current rate of erosion, that place is going in the drink somewhere in the next ten thousand years, so it's probably not a good investment property...

Love the shot. Just wish there was just a little more land to the right of the house.

Cheers Tp, and thanka alot for your feedback, If its like the storms in Feb this year it will be gone a lot quicker than that, we lost 5mts of cliff then as well a one house which stood where I was standing to take this picture

Thanks Chuck, Lands End is about 300 mile west of here and the big difference is the cliffs there are hard granite and these are very soft chalk and are eroding at quite a rate, Thanks again, I appreciate it,

Geoff

Love it. The composition, contrast, the light on the wall and dark sky lend to the whole scene. Great eye.

Thanks Dievon, This picture taken a month or so back will give you a better idea of the back land, Where the steps are is where the cliff was before the storms in Feb this year when we lost about 5 mts of cliff, and the green cottage was the middle one of 3 and before the storms,
