Downtown Dallas from Thanksgiving Square

I supervise a group of diesel mechanics on swing shift for the local transit agency. (It's a lot like herding cats.... :) ) I get off just before midnight and lately I've been making a foray through Downtown Dallas on my way home. This is a shot I grabbed last night.....

Looks a bit more of the modern age than my Dallas, Georgia that is.

Thank you kindly, Ma'm.... It can get 'interesting'. I had one homeless person and a security guard approach me during the shoot. I felt less threatened by the homeless guy... :wink: Besides, I always keep my trusty sidekick 'Elvis' (a 15 year old Jeep) close by in case I need to make a quick get-away.....

Cool shots... Is that a Courthouse? My wife once took an extended drive through the southern states on the way to Florida to see one of the last shuttle launches. She's originally from Greenville TX., and she attempted to drive through a 'Greenville' in every state she passed through.....

Yep. Same same courthouse you see in small towns all over the USA. I think they move them around at night. We now have a new modern one, but I like the old one. There is a Dallas in Pennsylvania. There are others. I googled once, but can't recall where is others are right now.

If I tried that I would only visit Mo. as there is only one town named Ballwin.
