D700 and rain

A question, down on the riverbank (Columbia) pretty rainy day, had my D700, I’m just wondering how this would compare to my D2x I had about moisture.

I've used my D700 in pouring rain on many occasions. This was taken in torrential rain with no protection for the camera:

Rain, Mud there has been no problem. There is a rubber seal between the bayonet and the lens. No worries. Nikon makes tough stuff.
