I like your photos of your granddaughter. She is nicely separated from the rest of the band in your first two photos yet the band is still represented nicely in the photos. A fill flash could have been used in the last photo to eliminate shadows but you probably already know that. Well done.

I am very much a newbie, both to photography and on line forums. I downloaded the first photo in hopes of accessing the meta data, but couldn't bring it up.
I have spent several Friday evenings trying to achieve a result half as good as these, and was looking for a hint.

The first two are very nice - particularly when she is looking at you.
the third one is definitely too dark. Either fill flash or some special handling in Lightroom needed.
I guess the third illustrates how fortunate you were with the location of the stadium lights on the first two.
