Out of 193 photo's taken of my grandchild's birth only 4 of them turned out OK. Needless to say I'm not a happy camper! This photo was the best one and I'd like to improve it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have PS?
Color cast if off- you need to reset the WB and you may be able to on PS. She is a total doll baby, love the cuddly pose! I think you can tweak it into being right with the colors and up the saturation a bit.
I take literally hundreds of pictures till I find one that makes me happy. It takes a reformatted card and patience to take good pics of kids, in my experience. Get baby near a better light source, it is a bit dark and slightly underexposed. Also, look s a bit out of focus- but that could be the light again.
That certainly looks much better. Thank you! Thanx for the advice as well.

Here is an edit I did. I adjusted the saturation and then because the hands were so light compared to the rest of the skin I added a little tanless skin to it. The edits were done in photoshop and picnik.
This is with my edits
This is your photo
It's looks good! I noticed the color difference in the hands as well but wasn't sure if it could be changed. Thank you!

You are more than welcome.
I just noticed how new newborn your granddaughter was at the time of this pic! All babies have teh blue hands when they are so new- I would keep them a bit blue, shows her age ;)
BTW- NONE of my kids came out looking that gorgeous!
