My LNIB 70-300 "L" lens does command a slightly higher value than the 70-200 f4 IS USM, but if your 70-200mm is in GREAT condition, I could entertain an even-up trade.

Bob - My 70-200mm f4.0 L is in near perfect condition and takes absolutely great, crisp photos - it is my favorite lens. But I need more reach for birds in flight, so I might be interested in a trade. Can you email or post some photos using the 70-300? If the IQ of the photos is at the same standard as the 70-200 then I am interested.

Might you still have an interest in the possibility of trading your 70-200 f4 IS "L" lens in exchange for my Canon 70-300 "L" lens? I still have it. After our "conversations" I decided to just keep it. But now feel a trade would better serve my personal photo needs.
