The government watchdog group Judicial Watch alleged Friday the Obama administration is formulating plans to admit Ebola-infected non-U.S. citizens into the United States for treatment.
The group, which cited unidentified sources, said the administration would aim to bring Ebola patients into the United States for treatment within the first days of diagnosis, and that its not clear whod pay either for the t***sportation or treatment, although it is expected that taxpayers would fund the bill.
The group alleged the plan for treatment includes special waivers of laws and regulations that ban the admission of non-citizens with a communicable disease; Judicial Watch cited its source saying the administration has not told Congress about the plan, and that it would be implemented via "executive order" without congressional approval.
The source is concerned that the proposal is illegal; endangers the public health and welfare; and should require the approval of Congress, Judicial Watch stated.
President Barack Obama has repeatedly made it clear he opposes any travel bans or restrictions to stop Ebola spreading from West Africa into the United States, noting Thursday history shows that there is a likelihood of increased avoidance (that could lead to) more cases rather than less, Fox News reports.
The problem is that in all the discussions that Ive had thus far with experts in the field, experts in infectious disease
a travel ban is less effective than the measures that we are currently instituting, Obama said. He did not state any specifics or name any experts supporting his view.
The United States has brought American citizens back for treatment of Ebola including Dr. Kent Brantly and a colleague who were working in Africa with Ebola patients, both recovered, and a freelance photojournalist who is currently undergoing treatment. No non-U.S. citizens, though, have been brought here for treatment.
Green Card-holder Thomas Duncan recently died in Texas after being infected with Ebola during a short visit to the Ebola area in Africa. However he was not known to authorities when he committed multiple frauds to enable his return to the U.S.

This congressman has some serious concerns about what this administration is doing to allow non-US nationals to enter into the country. Check it out
Representative Ed Royce (R-CA), chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee, has sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry saying that he is deeply concerned that the US embassies in the three countries hit hardest by Ebola are still processing visas for non-US nationals.
Royce said that about 100 people apply per day for the visas.
I was surprised that the Department of State has not already exercised its authority to suspend consular services, which is standard procedure in countries experiencing a major security disruption. This would be a prudent measure to mitigate the risk of Ebola exposure and contain its spreada bedrock principal (sic) of health crisis management.
Never, ever let a good crisis go to waste !!!

What could be more insane than importing carriers of a terrible deadly disease?
Unless of course the obvious is the case: Obama wants to harm the USA. In which case the importation makes perfect sense to support Obama's goals.

Does nobody else see the problem with what could charitably called "doublethink" in the article above. An anonymous source is taken as gospel, while the President's use of uncited sources is evidence of his lying nature. Come to think of it, it isn't "doublethink", since this gives a bad name to "think".
Yes it's true. But fortunately he's agreed to send them only to Republican controlled states and to house them in the Governor's Mansions.
Really. You guys will believe anything.

Isn't there anyone with any notoriety who will stand up to this and say this is just wrong? There must be hundreds of government employees who are helping to implement all this.
