Last Monday I spent a few hours at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, most of it shooting the new lion cubs, but I did pass by the tiger exhibit while I was there and got this shot of a male Sumatran tiger.
All wrong #1 Shooting into the light.
All wrong #2 No fill flash.
All wrong #3 Shooting through a fence.
All right #1 The final image.
Considering all the wrongs, I think the final image turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Be glad you were on the other side of the fence from the look on it's face. Very nice.

What a beautiful animal. You captured its wonderful wild catlike beauty.Considering all "the wrongs" I think you did just fine.

Thank you very much Don. Normally I use auto focus, but for this shot I had to use manual focus since the auto focus kept zeroing in on the fence and not the cat.
