Ruibal's after midnight.... just off downtown Dallas (that's the old Mercantile Bank building in the background) at the Dallas Farmer's Market. They supply all things garden related. I scouted this last week and grabbed a few hand held shots last night. I'll be going back with a tripod this weekend. Any shooting suggestions are appreciated.

I like the picture and would be fun to get the building interior lighting correct too. Maybe ND filter or WB setting for interior light, PP layers. Sounds like a 6 hour task. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Wait until after they close so the interior lights are not as bright.

I would say 'aim... wait for it... wait for it... W.. FIRE!!!'

2 exposures, one for the outside, one for the inside.
If you want some type of cityscape 3 exposures the addition being when there is some daylight left (dusk).

I like the idea of trying the ND filter..... Using the HD mode also sounds like a plan.... as far as I can tell they have their lights on 24-7 - they wholesale & are always busy............

Go with a friend, a sturdy tripod and a powerful off camera flash. Set up for a time exposure that'll give you a decent exposure of the building and interior while allowing you to run to one side, fire a flash, then run to the other side and fire a flash(painting with light) while the camera is on bulb. You may need to shield the flash in a box to prevent light coming back toward the camera when you trigger it. Or have friends do the light painting with multiple flashes while you run the camera if you have the equipment. You can "gel" the flash(s) to match the color temp of the lighting on the building.
