I have a 70-300mm sigma 1:4-5.6 apo macro super. I was looking at a pentax 55-300 f/4-5.8 Ed autofocus.Can you tell me wold this be a much better lense then the one I have now.

Is the Sigma autofocus? It would appear that you would gain much with the Pentax. Both lens reach to 300. The Pentax give you 15 more at the other end. Is the Pentax built macro capabilities? Both have questions you need to answer for how you use it.

After rereading my response...I meant to say "you would NOT gain much..."
