My camera has an internal electronic calibration for each lens. When a specific lens is attached, the camera recognizes the lens and the appropriate calibration is set. In one instance, on my D800, the calibration is set to -4 when my 70-200 f/2.8 is mounted. I don't see well enough to calibrate my lenses on my own. For $28.50, I am well satisfied.
