I had our granddaughter all day yesterday, no school, so we went to Audubon Zoo. Here are some of the pictures I took.

I asked why this parrot was lying that way. They said the he is 35 years old and probably has arthartis. When they go into the compound he perks up right away.

Sue, Thanks for the compliment. My granddaughter did enjoy our trip to the zoo. The hardest part was getting a picture without her knowing it. A couple of days after going to the zoo we went to her school for lunch with grandparents day and they always have a photographer. It took him 3 tries to get a good smile from her.
