Canon Elph 300

Does anyone have any experience with the Canon Elph 300? Thanks for any feedback good or bad :)

Yes, I have the Elph 300. Love it! But, it is no replacement for a DSLR. It's major benefit is its small size (only 3/4-inch thick). You can take it with you everywhere, and it actually fits in your shirt pocket. Its disadvantage is that it only shoots JPEG (no RAW), but, to me, its size factor far outweighs the lack of RAW capability. And, it's quite inexpensive.

Most of the Elph's are very good for what they do. Because they're tiny they can always be with you.

This was shot last night with my SD11000 .... because it's always in my coat pocket

Thanks for the info. I am definately not "tading" it for myDSLR. Actually looking for a PS for my husband. I bought an Elph 300 and so far he loves it. Seems real easy to use and the pictures it takes are awesome. Happy shooting :)
