It doesn't mention AdobeRGB color space. It only say it cover 99% sRGB colorspace. No I wouldn't get it.

sRGB 99%

sRGB is the standard color space of ideal color reproduction. So, with over 99% coverage of the sRGB spectrum, this LG monitor is a great solution for professional photographers, graphic designers or anyone looking for highly accurate color.

*Disclaimer: Color mode conversion between Adobe RGB and sRGB is available on the "Color Mode" menu.

My Eizo:
"The monitor reproduces 95% of the Adobe RGB color space and comes with an sRGB preset mode to reproduce this smaller but commonly used color space. "
Of course, it ain't cheap.
I was looking at the LG for video editing, though.
For projected, in-house stuff it may be ok?
Anyone know?

I have it, bought one last week for my MACbook Pro, it works terrific. Took it home and calibrated it with my ColorMunkie no problem. It can display AdobeRGB, and sRGB. It can also do a Dual Link, it has HDMI and DVI inputs. So I could hook my wifes PC, and my MAC to it at the same time and it can segment the screen and display both computers at the same time. Very cool monitor. I replaced two monitors with this one.

EDIT, I just went and looked at my model it's a 34UM65. I was about to return it and get from Adorama, because I paid $600. I believe the main difference between the 29UM65 and the 34UM65 is the size of the monitor.

Yeah, agree - find one that does Adobe RGB. It is a selling point. If it is not listed it is sRGB.

No, I think you are giving up a lot of color space with sRGB when you could get aRGB for more yellows, greens and reds that are important for landscape and wildlife photographers. I would also go with 2550 x 1600 as a minimum for detail work.

A good monitor will last through several generations of a CPU. Why skip on the quality of the device you are actually viewing and working on? ... penny wise - pound foolish.

If BestBuy is true to their word they will match Adorama price.

I have a 27 LG IPS Monitor and love it
