Another lucky break: geese fly into my frame as I snap the nearly full moon in early evening
I wanted to check the location of the moonrise, so was hanging around a semi-busy street corner for awhile. Once I saw the moon, I took quite a few photos, and during one snap, got this very lucky shot!
Then a lady from across the road came over to inquire, in a friendly manner, what the heck I was up to :) She thought I was documenting speeders as they came up the hill!
Canon T3i, 55-250 mm kit lens, shot in raw, PSE 12 and Nik Color Efex. ISO 400, f/10, 1/1250 sec (hand-held. I have problems holding this lens steady; tomorrow night will be with tripod :) )

Are you sure there is no one off to the left that just let them out of a cage? :)
Great capture - lucky indeed!

Luck happens most often to those who are prepared for it. What beautiful shots, Linda! Real wall hangers. Well done!!!

Thanks so much, Randy! I removed the first one; decided after that was posted, as much as it pained me, to remove a portion of the sky :)
Oh...!! Very Nice Linda !

Luck trumps skill every time. And the more you shoot, the luckier you get. Great shot, Linda.

Very nice Linda,
All of the characters showed up at exactly the right time; you, the moon, and the geese. Great timing.
Oh, wow! Great shot! Good for you. You were definitely in the right place at the right time. And they were flying in the right direction, too.
But isn't that how we get 'lucky' shots?
It is just beautiful. Love it.

Thank you very kindly, Ellie! And interesting you mention the direction the geese were flying, because usually in the evening, I see them going the other way :)
