I have just bought Corel Paintshop Pro X7 and playing around edited this picture which I have previously submitted before.
I quite like it but would be interested if folks think it overdone.
Do you like it? That's the most important question. I like it.

Think you wasted your money.

What on earth makes you say that? You may not like the picture, that I can understand but Paintshop Pro is pretty much as good as Adobe products at a fraction of the price. The new X7 knocks spots off of Lightroom.Look it up before making such comments.

Different strokes for different folks. I like it as it is dramatic. Works for some folks.

It is obvious that you are an artist and photography is your expression. How you choose to represent your art is a very personal matter. We, as artists, should not have the objective of pleasing everyone. It is nice when others feel our vision but some folks will always be naysayers. I for one like what you have done with your picture as it brings another dimension to your art. There is an old Ricky Nelson song which states "You can't please everyone but you've got to please yourself. I have the same software and it is a fine investment.
Cheers

I like your picture. It does appear a bit overdone but, if you like it, that is what matters. Anyone who thinks you wasted your money on Corel Paintshop Pro Ultimate doesn't have a clue as to what Paintshop Pro can do for you. I use Paintshop Pro X6 Ultimate for my main post processing program. It is fantastic, especially with some of the NIK and Topaz plugins - same plugins that Photoshop uses. I wouldn't waste my money on Photoshop or lightroom either. I'll use the extra cash for more plugins and more fun. Have a GREAT DAY!
Hello viscountdriver,
I think that it's a great photograph and I admire you for having ago with your new software.
The only comment I would make is that in my opinion the clouds are slightly overdone.
I would ignore the rude comment from the Aussie member!!
Cheers,
John.

Editing makes image appear more like a painting, especially the effect on the sky. Cool...If that's what you are creating.....fun to experiment though.
Enjoy it! Let it make you smile. It made me smile.
The over all makes for a dramatic photo which increases the value of that plane during the second world war. Very well done....Rich

Corel Paintshop Pro software is great as we have it too.
I like your photograph, however; you might try to make another one with less emphasis upon the sky & the clouds because, as is, they compete with the airplanes whereby one's attention is drawn to neither or one doesn't know whether to concentrate on the sky and clouds or on the airplanes ?

whats wild, the sky is crazy, but the planes are sharp and crispy
Thanks for all replies.I know the sky is crazy but I really do think we should experiment with out of the ordinary sometimes.
Take great artists, they don't always paint as it looks to the eye.
