I have a Galaxy S3. Recently a new application showed up called zone-libentertianment. I don't know what it does or why or how it got on my phone. I can not get rid of it. I have searched the web but no answers. It seems to have unlimited permissions.

Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this or any info on what it is.

Some of the posts suggest it's from Sprint.

Yes, I read that too. I use Boost Mobile which I believe uses Sprint towers.

forums.androidcentral.com has info but does not help either. Even tells how to get rid of it but it's an android app and can not be uninstalled. But I have never seen it before on my apps screen.

Thanks again.

It shows up as an app in lowercase spelling and when clicked on, you get a message from Sprint that they are not responsible for third party apps and what they can do followed by an error, the program must shut down.

Yes, that is what they say at forums.androidcentral.com but that is not what my app says. The first time I ran the app it gave a list of every thing on my Galaxy S3 that it had access to. I followed the instructions to remove it. Now it says, We're sorry: the app is configuring - please check back later.

Are you supposed to look at your watch or your calendar?

Neither...?

I don't know what the app does or why it is there. What info is out there is not much and what is is wrong. No info on what it is and what it is doing. Do you have this app on your SmartPhone?

If all else fails, backup whatever you have on it, make a list if the Apps you like and Factory Format it. It'll be like new!

I have already backed up the files, contacts and such. I would like to find a solution first incase I have it return. Format should be my lost resort. Thanks Steve, you have been a lot of help.
