I really like this and the Blk and Wht does the image more justice than color would've. Nice job!

Thanks for the compliment Racin17. I don't usually do tinting to my photos, though I have thought about it from time to time. I might try that sometime and see.

Whereas some would see this as a derelict, I view it as a chance to view Nature's brush stokes - not in the paint that she applied, but in the patterns she left behind after removing a great deal of the colorful stuff. And THEN, she exposes the natural patterns in wood, which are always so much more intricate than anything a man could devise.

Happy to see that someone else has a passion to shoot Derelict Buildings (I like your term rather than Delapidated that I use). Bob, I think you're correct in the patina nature provides after we stop taking care of things we build. Thanks for commenting.
