My son is travelling to Canada (Calgary) on business and I've asked him to buy me a new iPad Air if the price is right. I'm after a 32 gb.
Would anybody from Canada be able to tell me the price in Canadian Dollars? Then I can decide whether or not to buy it here in Australia or not. He is also going to the US but won't be able to do any shopping unfortunately. No time.
Would really appreciate it if someone could check the prices for me.

Here is a link to Best Buy. These stores are everywhere in Canada and USA.
Careful, a lot of manufacturers Will not honour Guarantees if the item is purchased in another country Make sure that the guarantee will be honoured here in Australia
My son is a world traveller and has bought Apple products overseas and the Apple Store here honours the warranty apparently.
I do want to thank everyone for their quick response and very helpful answers. I have got it figured now. The price difference is not that great after converting into A$ so might as well buy it here. I've got the 16gb iPad 2 and it will have to last a bit longer until I can save a bit more.

Remember if you give him the cash so he buys it in his name here in Australia up to 4 weeks before he goes overseas and takes it with him (and brings it back again) he can take advantage of the TRS scheme in Australia and claim the GST back at the airport (thus effectively getting it at a 10% discount)
Make certain it's fully charged before your go through the TSA two-step at any U.S. airport. Otherwise, no matter how nice and new it is, you will leave it behind...
Thanks again everyone. You've given me much food for thought. He will be back to the US again soon so I think the best thing is to buy it here and get it duty free before he goes.
