I just now am starting to do bracketing photos to HDR, I have photomatrix and did a couple ,turned out so/so, so I took another set of 7 photos I took yesterday opened PS CC 2014 and then NIK {add on} clicked the HDR tab got my photos loaded , no problem, did my processing, no problem, clicked the "OK" button, {normally the photo would go to PS CC 2014}
the photo disappeared!! went to my photos and can not find it!
IS there a default folder NIK uses ??

I have on occasion lost a photo or doc that for some reason decided to save its self in a place unknown. Try the search which is associated with the start area of your desk top lower left. Search using best the number associated with the photo, less effective is a word attached to name, and you will have lots of fond memories if you just put in the suffix eg. jpeg, Tiff, etc.... in the initial display, at the bottom will be a word.... MORE.... this will display every jpeg on your computer. You can go to "view" and use "sort by" and use "date".

Good luck... Have fun.

I HAVE USED THIS PROCEDURE MANY TIMES AND THE PHOTO ALWAYS OPENS IN PS. I would try restarting PS or even the computer , and reload the files into NiK HDR to see if it works then . I just tried using this procedure again , and it sent photo opened in PS window pain like always . You may have to uninstall NIk HDR and reinstall . It never asked me to choose where to open , tommy

I clicked on help inside NIK HDR while I had files being merged to see if I could fine something to help you . This may help you find your file . Copy and paste into your browser address box . https://support.google.com/nikcollection/answer/3003149?hl=en&ref_topic=3001474

It might be in the cloud.

I already have a request in at NIK, still waiting for response!
I have the whole NIK and have never had a problem with the photo going back to photoshop!!

when you HDR your photos in NIK and you are done with the process, how long does it take to go back to photoshop after you click the "OK" button???
