Muliplying images ala Andy Warhol

I need to take an image of a monkey and muliply-duplicate-12 or 15 times for a photo image. I am doing this for the cover of a book I plan to publish, so it's VERY important. I did something like this before on Picasa BUT can't remember how I did it. I am told I can do this on Fotografix but need EXACT instructions as I don't know this program too well. Any other free downloadable program I can use???? Thanx, Bruce
