I have a (first generation?) Kindle with a push-button keyboard. Can anyone tell me how to transfer photos from a PC (Windows 7) to my Kindle?

Sorry - I meant try using the sync cord or emailing the image. Mine is the previous version -- I can email PDFs to it; haven't tried photos, yet.

Embed the image in a PDF document. Try http://www.rogerandfrances.com/taster/Tripods%20Taster.pdf to see how PDFs work on a Kindle -- but be warned, it takes about 30 seconds to download, with quite a few illustrations.

Cheers,

R.

I have a pulse Kindle and all I do is send from my email account to my kindle account (given to me when I registered my kindle). Takes only seconds to receive, hope this helps!

I have a Kindle 2 and LOVE it! I have had it for over 2 years now. This is how I do it as I live in a very rural area with mountains all around (the Green Mountains of Vermont) so do not have WiFi so I download the books from my on-line account to a "Kindle Books" folder I made on my desktop. Then I connect my Kindle to my PC computer by way of the little USB cable that came with my Kindle. Then I drag each individual book from my above noted "Kindle Book" folder to my Kindle/Documents folder in my C Drive. It only takes a very short time and when I disconnect the USB cable I am ready to read my new book.

I hope I have made this clear to you. If not, your Kindle should have come with a Users Guide already installed on it. Open it and the Index will direct you.
