Camping neighbor

We've taken our grandkids camping every summer and, for several years, have stayed in the same site in a RV park near Estes Park Colorado. I started dopping plain peanuts for this little critter and he became so tame he would come when called. We named him Fred (Freeloader). He joined us for our vacation two years.

Fred became the camp entertainer. He would perch on my knee and I put a peanut in my shirt pocket. He would scamper up my belly and go in my pocket and get it.

That is so sweet. I used to have a lot of Swamp Rabbits around me and there was one who loved bananas and i had it eating them out of my hand. Its so cool when you can get wild animals to come close to you. I now have a wild buzzard following me around!

I'd be careful about the buzzard, not a good sign with them following you around.

Very funny, Guys! I'm not that old yet. Actually he got injured and is just learning to fly again so I sort of look after him. Did you know that buzzards sound a little like dogs? They make a "wuff, wuff, wuff" sound.I never knew this till I heard Buzz and some of his buddies talking to each other.
