I'm deffently going SmugMug within the next two weeks and have six albums uploaded in the SmugMug trial.
When it came down to putting prices for my photos in,
I work with it for hours. Was unsuccessful.
Now I'm assuming I will have to purshase SmugMug to get this to work for me.
Can any SmugMug user verify this ?
I plan to go with the "PRO".

Your assumption is correct. You cannot add pricing in the trial version. Nor can you add pricing the the entry level paid subscription. You must have the "Pro" version. BTW - just a shout out for SmugMug. I have found their support to be exceptional.

I'm using SmugMug Pro for the last 3 years and found it to be an excellent choice. They are very progressive organization and always updating their website capabilities. If you plan to sign-up for SmugMug, let me know and I can get you a small discount. Arnold

I got set up with the trial and after spending hours trying to do pricing I finally purchased the pro. No regrets . I did send them a message saying I need help putting in the prices and right away they got back with me . What was so great was I didn't have to do it but once and my prices went directly to six albums. I had already been ask by a friend that help me get set up to mention her and they gave us both a small discount. Thank you guys for getting back with me on this.

I have had a PRO account on Smugmug since 2/8/2004 now. Prior to Smugmug I was on Yahoo, until one day I went to my photo album and was shocked to find that they had drastically ruined all of my pictures by compressing them into very small JPEG's without warning me or even telling me they were planning on doing this.

At the time I started with Smugmug, I felt it was the best photo site on the Internet and I still feel that way. Over the past years they have added improvement after improvement........they just keep getting better and better.

I love the fact that I upload the full-resolution versions of my pictures to them. Their internal software auto-creates all the various sized versions you can view. It does an excellent job of this and there is very, very littlle in the way of JPEG artifacts (distortions) in any of their versions of my photos. I have over 21,000 pictures on my Smugmug website. And when someone orders prints, they are made from the full-resolution high-quality JPEG's I uploaded.

I highly recommend them.

Actually...unless you have a "smugvault" account with them you AREN'T actually uploading the original...just a JPG of the original.

You have to get the smugvault part of it before they will actually store originals or raw pictures.

I shoot ONLY in high-quality JPEG mode, so what I upload to SMUGMUG IS MY ORIGINAL, as edited in PS and various plug-ins.

Smugmug is the best. Their support is awesome. I have been a pro user for over 5 years.

You can also set up a web page and direct smug mug to it.

Here is my site to take a look.

That is true, I should have specified. It's the RAW file that they won't store. (or files over 24mb even if they are JPG)

I'm new at this but I'll give you an example of what I've been or going through.
Some time ago a lady ask me to come out and take some photo's of her horses. Well I went out and shot over 500 frames. I made the mistake of posting a few on Facebook and she tagged all of them. That means she took or more less stole them. They were top knotch pics. she has never paid me a cent. Well I did albums of the horses and put them on Smugmug, sent them to her and she emailed me back wanting to buy some. I told her she could buy them from my smugmug account or I would make her a cd for a certain price. The photo's on smugmug are copywrite protected and she can't get any photo's from there without purchashing them. I fixed her little red wagon .... :) :) :) :)

I believe SmugVault is part of the pro package, otherwise you couldn't set up an eStore and have them send out full resolution files for printing and shipment to your customers.
