Your Favorite U/W Shot (how, what, when, why)?

Here's our first topic. My favorite is this U/W Panorama taken with a Canon SX200IS in panorama mode. Ikelite housing. No filters, no strobes. Just sunlight at 25 feet deep. It reminds me of the mystery of The World Beneath. What's lurking on the other side? One of the funny's of this Pan, is that the Orange Bar tang at the bottom, well there are two of them along the bottom right. They are the same fish. By the time I shifted to the right for the next frame, he'd moved too! PP in photoshop to stitch it together. Plus, much detail work to remove the jpeg artifacts and other camera induced issues.

Kevin,
Am very happy that this topic has finally made it to fruition. Oh since you asked me to be co moderator I have to point out a mistake in your original post on rules, (and and). Your shot is great, would never know you stitched it together if you had not pointed it out.

Would also like to have people tell when they learned, what agency, when, and basically where they have been diving. I sure hope I can remember all the places I dived but my brain is not working as well as it used to.

Well, I will start it off, I learned in the summer of 58, and was diving all the way up until 1979 without a C card. At that time I owned a motorcycle shop and one of my customers was a PADI Instructor, what he did not know is that I knew and had dived with John Cronin, the head of PADI. I then got him to certify me since it was becoming harder to get tanks filled when away from home. I had my own compressor. I then went on to open my own Scuba Shop became a PADI instructor, then CMAS, TDI/SDI, HSA, and a few others, enough with all the intitials. I have been diving all over the world, just not in the Antartic.

George

I would like to suggest that when posting a pano, or any photo with detail, that you check the box labeled "(store original)". This will allow viewer to "download" and view a much larger image.

Please re-post your reef panorama image entitled Kiholo, Kona, Hawaii.

Well, that will make for a much more enjoyable experience. If you don't mind my asking what gear are you using?

Kevin,
I was looking at your photo and I sure love the way you put it together. If you had not mentioned it no one would have noticed the fish in the right front is doubled. Also if possible we should name the fish in the photo so others can learn their names.

Kylan,
If you don't mind my asking again how old are you, and where are you doing the most of your diving.
