All aboooaaaaarrrrrrd!

I hadn't quite realized what marked perspective distortion one gets when shooting with a 16-35mm wide angle lens on a full-frame camera, and NOT shooting square to your subject. It's rather pronounced.

Thanks for your kind words krajeski. Low Key processing has a way of concentrating light just where it needs to be.

Thanks dan. I'm glad I included the bricks out front .... it gives the photo some depth it might otherwise have lacked.

Thanks ricw. You and I grew up not that far from each other ..... I originally lived in Flint, just up the road apiece.

With a little artistic license, sometimes you can use that very distortion to your advantage. Nice job!

Well then infocus, since you seem pretty convinced about its authenticity, who am I to argue with you?

Thanks Ronbo. This was taken with a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II lens - the details of which are so much sharper than my P&S cameras. I should probably use it more, but I truly "baby" this lens.
