Our RV dealership in Rhode Island has been vandalized several times this year. After two thefts involving 30-40+ deep cycle batteries and Digital TV's from our and customers trailers and RV's they are now cutting the shore power cords off to recylce for the conductor metal inside. It is beginng to cost us a bunch of money never mind the customer complaints about vandalism of their units on out lot.
We have installed security cameras and have some vehicle images but not good enough to read the license plate. I have tried to enhance them, but cannot get them clear enough to read the plate number.
Anybody here want to take a crack at it ???
Wow! You might check around the area to see if anyone else has security cameras. The police should have already checked this out or maybe you might have to push them a little. Good luck.

Sorry, GC, but here's a pixel level image of the plate. This doesn't work like it does on the TV shows. You can't invent detail that's not there. If this is a real problem, you need much better cameras.
OK, so here's an upsized version.
There is no data to work with, sorry.
Look at getting 5K security cameras. at lot better image... Also gate alarm system will help a bit will shorten their time in the yard. can be setup to call your cell phone instead of police or both. Also there are are perimeter sensors that can be mounted on your fence to sense fence climbing or cutting.
Big noisy dog works better than a camera.

We're not close enough to anyone with cameras.

I had a friend who used dogs at his RV dealership years ago. Liability factor is HUGE !! His insurance was out of site and the dogs left little piles of smelly poop all over the lot that had to be cleaned up each day. Not am option here........

So, here is the Ebenezer method. Get a motion detector, wire it to a sound system. Put in a recording of dogs barking. hook that up to speakers being the house/building and turn it on. You could always get one of those motion attractions they have for Halloween and put a dog suit on it and have it's head sticking out from behind the building.

While this set of images aren't going to work out you clearly don't have the brightest thieves in the world working you over, leaving the lights on their car as they leave!
Police ought to at least be able to identify the make, model, and year of the vehicle and pull up the owners who live nearby and check them out. Maybe some folks here can offer opinions on the vehicle, anyway.
There is a chance that the suv could be stolen.
GC likes NIKON: Have the police check for stolen vehicles that match the vehicle in your pictures. You never know what might turn up.
IF anyone is able to get a clear picture of the license plate, do not post it on a public forum. Send the information in a private message or an e-mail to the op.
By posting the license plate information on here, that could open up some legal and privacy issues.
I would get extra lights up and operating. Light the entrance and exit up very well and set up a hidden security
cameras facing both ways to get a better shot at the license plate and maybe even the driver or passenger of the vehicles. Good luck.
First I am sorry to say not enough data quality to try to fix the pixalation and read the photos .
You should look at few things on your camera set up .
Have the cameras refocused and slightly tightened up.
See sample photo for what I mean.
Also I am betting the recording is set to a lower setting, to make longer recordings . Have it set to the highest quality it can handle.
So many times people take short cuts on the video set up only to have this type video that is pretty worthless in helping to id the criminal act .. Happened to my Company also.
One more thing we did. Have a FEW large signs {Saying WARNING 24 hr VIDEO SURVEILLANCE } made and installed where they have to be seen at the entry point of your lot . This helped a lot. People tend to see the sign and move to another easier target .
