Thank You!
I appreciate the compliment, and I'm glad you enjoyed looking at them!
Playing around with my pictures and I had to put myselves up on the scoreboard...
Very enjoyable series. You conveyed the gorgeous day, excitement of the game, and the fun of being a fan.
Great ballpark. I've been to many MLB parks and Great American and Pittsburg rank among the best. Did you get any food or concession shots--food there is fantastic.
I go to Anaheim Stadium often and last time I was there I was told not to shoot cause I had a "professional" lens -Tamron 150-600. Thought I could get away with it because it is black and Tamrons look like Nikons which, of course, don't have that "pro" look... The usher told me it was a MLB rule. Maybe he's right. Dunno. I told him I wasn't a professional and I was using a cheap consumer lens and I had no idea what I was doing.
GO ANGELS !!!!!!!

GABP really is a nice park, the only other one that I've been to was the old Riverfront Stadium, back when I was still in high school. I'm sorry to say that the food didn't last long enough for any photos!
I checked the 'Official Cincinnati Reds Website' and they are fine with cameras being brought to the game- but it is a league regulation that anything brought into the park has to be 16"x16"x8" or smaller and that we cannot video record any of the game action, we cannot bring tripods or monopods and we also cannot impede others while taking pictures. The camera I have is a G.E. X-600- plenty small enough to take into the park.
Beautiful, clear, sharp photos! Well done, wright1!
Thanks for the shot of the Great Cincinnati Red. That sure doesn't look like Crosley Field. They've come a long way. Nice set of photos.

I have only heard stories of Crosley Field from my mom, that was a little before my time! She tells about how she and her brother used to skip out of school and take their lunch money to go to the games! I wish it was still that cheap!
