I could not figure out how to attach images to a private message, so I'm posting these for Sylvia. These were shot 4 years ago with a D60 and a kit lens. Realizing that they could have been so much better, I bought my D7000 at first chance.
For those of you unfamiliar with Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons, they are two sections of a single slot canyon two miles east of Page AZ. It eventually empties into Lake Powell.
Wonderful collection

Glad you like them, Sylvia. They present me a good excuse to go back and try again with better equipment (and knowledge.)

The lighting; the composition. Gorgeous. It's photos like these that make me wonder if the photo is as shot or was pp also used, besides letting the colors pop out.

Thank you, ediesaul. I shot those as jpegs in October 2010 (I have since learned that RAW is much better for pp.) I have had a long journey of learning how to use Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw to tune images. I mostly use ACR, then Topaz filters in PS (unless there is a particularly difficult area that needs to be handled in PS as a selection.)
To answer your question: my main tuning in these was using the brush in ACR to bring out shadow information. I don't think I have used too many pp tricks.
