I just purchased an old Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS camera through auction, but it didn't come with a charger.
Does anyone have a NB-4L charger they are not using and would like to donate it to me?

You can pick up generics with batteries for a song on ebay, I have bought them for a Nikon S9100 and a Canon SX260HS and never had a problem, I think that I paid less than $20 and got two batteries with the charger. The manufacturers always scare you with stories about your camera catching fire.... personally I have never had problems with generic batteries or chargers, in fact in my DSLR's the generics always seemed to out perform the obscenely more expensive OEM's.
