Just finished working on the processing for this wedding shot. The first image is the original and the second is the processing it did on it. Any comments or critiques are welcome.
I'd say your edit is 99.999% perfect. The only thing that looks a bit off (and I really did have to look) is that you changed the colour cast slightly, and I'm guessing that you moved the WB away from yellow and towards blue a little. If it was mine I'd reverse it very slightly and not go so far with the slider. For most of the shot it's a very small matter, but I'd say the guy's face looks just a tad too blue. If reversing the WB shift wasn't enough, I'd select his face and warm up the colour a little.
AS I said, these are very small matters......
Distinct pink cast to second image.

Thanks, Bill, for your comments.
The first thing on my monitor that caught my eye is the bright white dot in her hair . As far as the rest , it could be what each member sees on their monitor as what they would change slightly , so I wont touch on that . Nice looking couple ,Tommy
I love the PP but it seems that some of the embroidery detail of the dress fabric was lost.

I like the pictures of the couple; his pose--not so much.
The PP in the second picture makes her gown really stand out. Was it really that white?
Take the new husband out and you'd have a Really Nice photo of the bride.
Please note that these are my non-professional opinion, and I don't "do" weddings except for some candid shots at family weddings!
Very difficult noon day shot we photographers are expected to do what can not be done with out a crew and reflectors etc...You did well considering the lighting ... "only mad dogs and Englishmen get out in the noonday sun." (Noël Coward 1931)
Using the original shot I did the following: The sun has blotched the faces badly. I brushed using the light color of the individuals to lighten the darkness. Increased the detail using Topaz Detail, bring out the detail on the dress. Cropped to make the photo about the couple not the steps and sky. The crop is 8x10" which is typical.
Also remember the photo will be shown on i-phone, a 7" desk slide show, or on the 32" TV, ain't like great-grandma's day with albums of B/W silver photos.
Sorry for the loss of definition of the faces.. limit of time and dificult lighting. So a quick mod is below....

OMG, Nail hit the hammer on the head. Did a wedding Saturday right at 12 noon 1000 feet from the beach. The PP edits drove me crazy. Much more than I am used to. My skin hates the sun and so does my camera!!!! Now why do I live in Florida???? LOL. BTW, lost 10 pounds sweating tooo, not that I did not benefit from loosing it!! LOL

You right about the cropping. However, as for the sharpening, while the dress now shows its full glory, the rest of the picture is not very pleasing. I do not know how Topaz works but I would have selected the dress in PS and sharpened that. LR might have worked using the adjustment brush.
Thanks for posting this because it shows how the dress should really look and the bride will be much more pleased with this result.
A Perfect Effects Bleach Bypass preset was used on the Bride, and her features were lightened with a brush in PE. A slight sharpening of the images were made in PS.
