Planting a garden is lots of work.
I have a small garden now, mostly tomatos planted in pots, because my darling neighbor planted bamboo, and we used so many chemicals in the soil, I dare not plant in it, plus when we have to rip it out, I don't want to disturb the garden, much easier now.
Love the black and white kitty, they know where the love is!!

Friend bought a house in NH and shes is plagued with that bamboo. She hates it.
i had only planted leeks- onions, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots-the pumpkins, squash-red and white potatoes this year.
I will alternate next year again.

Sounds like a big garden!!
Bamboo is the worst, it went through my pet cemetery and we have a pond, thank goodness it didn't make it to there. My husband and I would rip it out from the roots, we're finally rid of it!

You have a nice crop of pumpkins and squash there. Nice looking Halloween (Patches) cat too. I can not show Rems the carrots he would be jealous.

Hey don't worry Erv. I had her beat with the tomatoes. I bet I had over 70 and I still have some greens ones! But I am not bragging!

a rough guess would be 30x40 and thats a guess only. GF mows it down but she said you have to keep after it so it ends up dying. she also has a creek behind the house where its got a foothold. I have enough with weeds.

Hush!
mine are red and green and too many to count.
Do you need any more?
The carrots are huge- thinking of canning a half doz jars- the rest can continue to stay in the ground- i will just cover them with straw and dig them in the spring.

i'm hiding them- i don't want Mary to see how many i have. also, These are winter tomatoes and grow in the snow. so when shes stuck in the house- i will be eating these fresh from the garden. i may have to use a
hack saw to cut them, but i just won't tell her that.
Good for Janny - give her a thumbs up from me.
