Does this just show metric equivalents?

No idea. Usually, there's a choice of metric or the correct way. :D

If the author is based in Europe, metric is the correct way.
Over here, it only people of my age who use feet and inches.

Below is an untouched NEF shot from Cape Cod last week. You can see where the camera focused - the red box.

Google Show Focus Points, and you'll find the download site.

You don't have to tell me. That's what I use for making cabinets. :D

I wonder how that relates to "hands" for measuring horses.

Speaking of fingers, I've seen people in English movies and TV giving the V for victory sign when they certainly don't mean victory. Is that similar to the middle finger?

I've heard the story about the English archers.

This is why the world should switch back to inches and feet. It so much clearer saying 3 3/16" X 8 3/8", rather than 82mm X 213mm. :D

The victory sign is palm outwards (towards the recipient), the other way round is similar to the middle finger.

That's what I suspected. Are the two finger slightly more socially acceptable?

Unfortunately for Canon or Nikon only at this time.

I hope they expand to other brands, as this seems to be potentially quite useful. :-(

Thanks for the information. My husband and I just returned from spending the summer on Cape Cod.
